Levitt Pavilions is a national nonprofit that partners with cities to build and transform outdoor music venues into community treasures. Our goal is to inspire the best of American city life by bringing people together in beautiful, open green spaces to enjoy free, live music. The need for more “third places”—those informal gathering spots outside the realms of home and the workplace—has become increasingly clear in today’s world and guides us in our community-driven efforts.
At the heart of Levitt Pavilions is a passion to reinvigorate our public spaces and create opportunities for everyone to experience the performing arts. Each of our six existing venues offers more than 50 FREE concerts each year by acclaimed musical artists in all genres.
What makes our concerts into celebrations and our outdoor destinations into favorite gathering spots is the spirit of community at the heart of both music and our mission. Through an innovative venture philanthropy model supported by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, Levitt Pavilions offers participating cities financial assistance and a support system to build and sustain their own Levitt Pavilion music venue.
